Griswald (Dwight) Barker+
Dwight Griswald Barker, known as Dwight or Griz, died May 31, 2013, in Grass Valley at age 49. He was remembered as kind, smart, funny, and adventurous, with a love of sports, the outdoors, family, and friends.
Rudene DiCarlo+
Rudene Marie Di Carlo, 32, died April 17, 1995, of leukemia. A Walnut Creek native, she was a resident physician in pediatrics at Stanford University Medical Center.
Kerry Fender+
Kerry Scott Fender died June 18, 2014, at his home in Sacramento. He served with the Contra Costa Fire Protection District for 24 years and is lovingly remembered by his wife, children, granddaughter, parents, and brother.

Larry died in an automobile accident on Highway 24 during his first year of college. He had moved from Connecticut in fifth grade and attended Walnut Acres Elementary.

Jay (Jonathan) Meagher was born August 7, 1962 and died March 25, 2011, at age 48. He loved horses, big rigs, and show trucks, and owned his own trucking company.

Jerry died in a boating accident in 1988 and was living in Walnut Creek at the time.

Robert died of cancer in 1997. He is remembered by classmates as a good friend who is still missed.

Neil died in a bicycling accident in San Mateo County and is survived by his sister, Carol Oda. Classmates remembered him as a fantastic friend, a great guy, and an inspired instigator of wholesome shenanigans.

Karen was remembered as a dear high-school friend, a flute player in Northgate marching band, and a member of Job's Daughters. She later became a music teacher and married her high-school sweetheart, David.

Sven passed away on March 25, 2015, in Oxnard, California. Friends remembered his infectious laugh, humor, many talents, athletic spirit, and love for his boys, Ryan and Vincent.

Julie Lynn Thomas, 49, of Reseda, California, passed away October 13, 2013. She studied psychology, theater arts, and library science, and worked as an executive at The Walt Disney Company.

Greg's courageous battle against cancer ended December 14, 2002, at home surrounded by loved ones. He worked at Pacific Bell and is remembered by his wife, Dee Dee, family, friends, and Murphy, his faithful companion.
